Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer
Atomic absorption spectrophotometer can be widely applied in various industries such
as geology, metallurgy, medicine, chemical engineering, petroleum, agriculture, environmental
protection and commodity inspection. The application of it for the analysis of trace and ultra-trace
elements has gradually shifted from inorganic chemistry to organic chemistry in recent years.
Working principle
The characteristic spectral radiation of the element to be measured is emitted by the light
source and absorbed by the ground-state atoms of the element to be measured in the vapor
of the sample produced by the atomizer such as a flame or graphite furnace. The content of
the element to be measured is determined by measuring the amount of the characteristic
spectral radiation absorbed.
