8G FC Long Wave Extended 25KM SFP+ Transceiver DFB+PIN 1310nm SMF LC DOM
Description
Gigaopto’s 8GFC SFP+ transceivers GTS-L1385-25DC are designed to support 8G Fibre Channel (FC), suitable for storage area network (SAN) links up to 25km over dual fibers.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP+ MSA Agreement (SFF-8431, SFF-8432, SFF-8472 ) and FCIA FC-PI-4 800-SM-LC-L standard.
Digital optical monitoring (DOM) functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface,as specified in SFF-8472, which allows real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.
The fiber channel optical transceiver is RoHS compliant and CE/FCC certificated.
