Description
Gigaopto’s GTQ-L13B4-80DC transceiver module designed for optical communication applications compliant to 100GBASE-ZR4, operating over dual-strand single-mode optical cable with four independent optical communication lanes, separated from each other using LAN WDM technology,a maximum transmission can up to 80km (with host FEC) and 40km distance (without host FEC).
This 100Gbase ZR4 transceiver consists of two sections: the high performance EML cooled 4x25Gb/s LAN WDM TOSA (1295.56, 1300.05, 1304.58, 1309.14nm) laser transmitters and high sensitivity 4x25Gb/s SOA+PIN receivers. All Transceiver is CE/RoHS certified and it is Compliant with product safety standards
A serial EEPROM in the transceiver allows the user to access transceiver monitoring and configuration data via the 2-wire QSFP Management Interface. This interface uses a single address, A0h, with a memory map divided into a lower and upper area. Basic digital diagnostic (DD) data is held in the lower area while specific data is held in a series of tables in the high memory area.
With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable 100G ZR4 transceiver is suitable to be used for Internet Service Provider (ISP) Fiber to the Home Aggregation and Backbone, Mobile Operator Core Networks and Mobile Backhaul and Data Center networking site interconnections
