The Cisco GLC-EZX-SM-100 compatible SFP optical transceivers are high-performance, cost-effective modules supporting data rate of 1.25Gbps and 100km transmission distance with SMF, designed for 1000BASE-EZX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. The transceiver consists of three sections: a DFB laser transmitter, an APD photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit.
The GLC-EZX-SM-100 SFP optical transceiver is programmed and tested to be compatible with Cisco networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters.
