This Cisco SFP-10G-BXU Compatible BiDi transceiver is a small form factor pluggable module for duplex optical data communications such as 10GBASE-LR/LW defined by IEEE 802.3ae. It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.

The SFP-10G-BXU features a multiple quantum well 1270nm DFB transmitter and 1330nm PIN photo-detector into LC Simplex connector, it supports to transmit and receive serial optical data link up to 10km over simplex single-mode fiber cable. All modules satisfy Class 1 laser safety requirements.

Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

This SFP-10G-BXU is capable to interconnect with wide range of Cisco network equipment seamlessly, such as Cisco 3100 WS series, Cisco 4500 WS series, Cisco 4900 series, Cisco 5700 Air series, Cisco 6000, Cisco 6800 series, Cisco C6800 series, Cisco Nexus 2000 series, Cisco Nexus 3000 series, Cisco Nexus 5000 series, Cisco Nexus 7000 series, Cisco Nexus 9000 series, Cisco WS-C2960S series, Cisco WS-C3560E series, Cisco UCS series and etc.
