10Gbps BIDI XFP ER60 Fiber Transceiver Module 1270nm/1330nm 60km DOM
Description
The BIDI XFP ER60 is a hot-pluggable WDM XFP transceiver module for Bi-direction optical data communications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 1200-SM-LL-L 10G Fiber Channel. It provides 60km transmission over single-strand single-mode fiber (G.652 SMF).
The BIDI XFP ER60 module consists of two sections: the transmitter section uses a 1270nm DFB, which is class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825, the receiver section uses a 1330nm APD photodiode integrated with a TIA.
Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472, which allows real-time access to device operating parameters such as transceiver temperature, laser bias current, transmitted optical power, received optical power and transceiver supply voltage.
