440c Martensitic Stainless Steel Round Bar High Carbon AISI 440c Bar Bright Bar
Introduction to 440c Martensitic Stainless Steel:
440C steel is a martensitic stainless steel. It contains 1.0% carbon and 16-18% chromium. It has strong rust resistance and is a high-quality stainless steel.
Scope of application: Mainly used to manufacture bearing parts that work in corrosive environments and non-lubricated strong oxidizing atmospheres. 440C has good high-temperature dimensional stability, so it can also be used as corrosion-resistant high-temperature bearing steel. In addition, it can also be used to manufacture high-quality knives, such as medical scalpels, scissors, nozzles, bearings, etc. 440C has a low ability to withstand dynamic loads.
Features:
440: High-strength cutting tool steel, with a slightly higher carbon content. After proper heat treatment, it can obtain a higher yield strength and a hardness of up to 58HRC, which is among the hardest stainless steels. The most common application example is "razor blades". There are three commonly used models: 440A, 440B, 440C, and 440F (easy to process)

Main uses of 440c martensitic stainless steel:

It is used in automatic lathes. Like ordinary alloy steel, it has the characteristics of hardening through quenching. Therefore, a wide range of different mechanical properties can be obtained by selecting grades and heat treatment conditions. 440C has a low ability to withstand dynamic loads.
Delivery status:
If heat treatment is required, it will be delivered after heat treatment.
If not required, it will be delivered without heat treatment.
