ERNi-1 Special Weliding Wires Super Alloy Excellent Welding Process Performance For Marine Equipment
ERNi-1 is a nickel-based welding wire classified under AWS A5.14 as ERNi-1. It is primarily used for welding commercially pure nickel (UNS N02200/N02201) and offers excellent corrosion resistance in reducing and neutral environments. The wire features high nickel content (≥99.0%) with controlled levels of manganese (Mn), titanium (Ti), and iron (Fe) to enhance weldability and mechanical properties.
Key applications include chemical processing equipment, food industry machinery, and electrical components requiring high purity and thermal conductivity. ERNi-1 provides smooth arc stability, low spatter, and easy slag removal, making it suitable for GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes. Its weld deposits exhibit good ductility (typically ≥30% elongation) and tensile strength (~550 MPa), ensuring reliable performance in cryogenic and elevated-temperature services.
The wire complies with ISO 18274: Ni 2061 and is available in standard diameters (0.8mm–2.4mm) for precision welding operations.
