Hastelloy X Bar/Rod/Wire/Forging/Plate/Strip With Superior Heat And Corrosion Resistance For Demanding Applications
Hastelloy X is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy known for excellent oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength, and fabricability. It performs reliably in temperatures up to 1200°C (2200°F), making it ideal for aerospace, gas turbines, and industrial furnaces. The alloy resists oxidation, carburization, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It is easily weldable, retains ductility after prolonged exposure, and maintains structural integrity under extreme thermal cycling. Available as bar, rod, wire, forging, plate, and strip, it is widely used in combustion chambers, jet engine parts, exhaust ducts, and chemical process equipment. Hastelloy X is also suitable for components exposed to reducing and mildly oxidizing environments, offering long service life and high reliability.
