A. Molybdenum Disilicide Heating Elements Introduction:

Silicon molybdenum rod resistive electric heating element, based on molybdenum disilicide, resistant to high temperature and oxidation. When used in a high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere, a layer of bright and dense quartz (SiO2) glass film is formed on the surface, which can protect the inner layer of the silicon-molybdenum rod from oxidation, and the silicon-molybdenum rod element has unique high-temperature oxidation resistance.

It should be pointed out that element cannot be used for rather long time in 500-1700°C, or it will be powdered owing to the strong oxidizing action in low temperature.
