Product overview

Squirrel Cage Induction Motor of high-efficiency high-voltage motors have four types of enclosure protection grades: IP23, IPW24, IP44 and IP54 according to the standards of GB4942.1 and IEC34-5 "Enclosure Protection Grades for Rotating Electric Machines". IP23 motors can be made into IP44 (duct ventilation) according to user requirements. If users need other protection grades, they can be supplied separately.


The cooling methods of YX, YXKS, YXKK series high-efficiency high-voltage motors are IC01, IC611 and IC81W according to the standards of GB/T1993 and IEC34-6 "Cooling Methods for Rotating Electric Machines" respectively. If users need other cooling methods, they can be supplied separately.

Starting of squirrel cage asynchronous motors (Y, YKS, YQF, YKK series)
The rotor of the squirrel-cage asynchronous motor adopts advanced computing technology to calculate the starting temperature rise and stress of the squirrel-cage rotor, so as to prevent the motor from early damage due to excessive starting load. Users are advised to check:
(1) The moment of inertia of the rotating part of the driven mechanical equipment (converted to the motor speed) should not exceed the value of the item [Load J] in the technical data sheet;
(2) The user's power grid should ensure that the motor terminal voltage of the motor during the starting process is not lower than 85% of the rated voltage;
(3) The resistance torque characteristics of the driven machinery are the resistance torque characteristics of pumps and fans.
Under the above conditions, the motor is allowed to start twice continuously in the actual cold state, and the motor stops naturally between the two starts; or starts once in the hot state of the motor. Restarting the motor beyond the above limit should be done after stopping for 1 hour.
If the moment of inertia of the mechanical rotating part of the motor drive is required to exceed the (load J) value in the technical data sheet, or the motor is required to be started frequently, or the motor may be started with a heavy load, be sure to contact our company in advance to negotiate, so that special Designed to ensure reliable starting of the motor.
