A ring-shaped ceramic dielectric capacitor is provided. It comprises two sets of internal electrodes which is connected to one end electrode respectively. Within each set of internal electrode, there is one or more conductive films which are separated from adjacent conductive films that belong to a different set by a ceramic gap.
Additionally, the dielectric film layer and the dielectric protection layer are laminated alternatively to form a homogeneous capacitor body. Both these layers have an annular body shape and are encased in a cylinder with a through hole. Finally, the terminal electrodes have two parts: an outer ring end electrode and an inner ring end electrode, both with metallized films to cover their respective inner and outer walls.
