15CrMoG high-pressure alloy pipes are widely used steel grades in the power industry. They exhibit high thermal strength performance when used between 500°C to 550°C. However, when the operating temperature exceeds 550°C, their thermal strength performance significantly decreases. Typically, 15CrMo steel is mainly used for high and medium-pressure pipelines with steam parameters of 510°C, steam leading pipes, and heater pipes with wall temperatures of 550°C.
Similar steel grades abroad include the former Soviet Union's 15XM, American grades T12 and P12, Japanese grades STBA22 and STPA22, and German grade 13CrMo44.
