Operation and Maintenance

1. Before the grate reducer is put into use, the user must check the installation quality and fill the lubricant to the center position of the oil level observation hole of the reducer.

2. When the user uses the grate reducer in winter, in order to reduce machine wear and improve the service life of the equipment, it is recommended to use N32 type lubricant. When the summer temperature is high, the N46 type lubricant is recommended. The height of the lubricant filling is the same as the height of the oil mark center.

3. The calcium-based grease should be added to the cross joint in the reducer.

4. The tension of the belt needs to be adjusted before the reducer is operated. The error of the end face of the belt pulley is controlled within 1mm. After the adjustment, turn the pulley by hand, it should be able to rotate smoothly, and there is no jam.

5. After the grate reducer has been working for one month, the user needs to replace the first time of the lubricating oil, and then replace the lubricating oil every three months. Also check the height of the lubricant regularly. Once the oil leak is found, the equipment should be shut down in time until the fault is eliminated.

When the reducer is in long-term operation, if the overload is broken by the safety pin in the protection system, the damaged parts should be replaced immediately with the special insurance pin to ensure that the equipment operates under the safety protection state.
