Specification

Steel bar grating is the product in accordance with customers requirements that is lined by load flat steel and horizontal rod alternately in a certain space, welded into primary plate in the high voltage resistance welding machine, then through the deep-processing of such working procedures as cutting, slitting, tapping, bordure, etc.

Bearing Bars – Load carrying main elements made from steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, extending in the direction of the grating span.

Bearing Bar Centers – The distance center-to-center of the bearing bars.

Carriers – Flats or angles which are welded to the grating panel and nosing of a stair tread and are bolted to a stair stringer to support the tread.

Clear Opening – The distance between faces of bearing bars in rectangular gratings, or between a bent connecting bar and a bearing bar in a riveted grating.

Cross Bars – The connecting bars which extend across the bearing bars, usually perpendicular to them. They may be bent into a corrugated or sinuous pattern and, where they intersect the bearing bars, are welded, forged or mechanically locked to them.

Cross Bar Centers – The distance center-to-center of the cross bars.

The specification of plain type and serrated type bearing bar is 20 x 3 to 100 x 10;the specification of I-section type is 25 x 5 x 3, 32 x 5 x 3, 38 x 5 x 3, 40 x 5 x 3, 50 x 5 x 3, 50 x 7 x 4, 55 x 7 x 4, 60 x 7 x 4, 65 x 7 x 4, 70 x 7 x 4, 75 x 7 x 4, etc.

- Bearing Bar Pitch (center to center)

12.5, 15,25, 30, 30.16, 32.5, 34, 40, 41.25, 45, 50, 60, 60.32, 80, 100 mm etc, also be according to client's requirement and 30, 40, 60mm are recommended,

America standard is available :1'' x 3/16'', 1 1/4'' x 3/16'', 1-1/2'' x 3/16'', 1'' x 1/4'', 1-1/4'' x 1/4'', 1 1/2'' x 1/4''(19-w-4),(19-w-2) and so on.

38, 50, 76, 100, 101.6mm etc, also be according to client's requirement and 50, 100mm are recommended,

Steel graitng product can be packed in wooden case or fixed by flat steel strip.
