WIFI function description:

SMOKE ALARM: This smoke alarm is designed to detect smoke. It is Not designed for GAS detection.
SILENCE FUCTION: In order not to disturb your rest, the alarm designed function of silence and no disturb.
LOW BATTERY WARNING: The smoke alarm with low battery warning function makes you can know whether the alarm has sufficient power easily.
TUYA APP: The water alarm supports connecting to TUYA APP. It allow you can monitor it in your phone in everytime and everywhere.

Silence Mode
During the unit is alarming, you can push the test button, it will be paused the unit alarming for approx 10 minutes. The red LED will flash once every 8 seconds, it indicates the smoke alarm device is running into the silence mode. The silence feature is to be used only when a known alarm condition, such as smoke from cooking activates the alarm. The smoke alarm device will automatically reset after approximately 10 minutes, if after this period, particles of combustion are still present, the alarm will sound again.

Wi-Fi Configuration & Networking
1. Power on the device,and do the self-checking
2. Make sure your smart phone is connected to the Wi-Fi in the 2.4GHz band
3. Ensure that the alarm, mobile phone and router are close to each other
4. Download TUYA app on your phone
5. Connect the device to Wi-Fi :
Step 1: Open the APP enter into "My Home" ,click "Add Device"
Step 2: Choose the “Add Manually ” ,select ”Security & Sensor”,and select ”Alarm (Wi-Fi)”
Step 3: Press the button four times until the LED indicator light blinks.
Step 4: Click "Confirm indicator “rapidly” or “ slowly” blink" according to the alarm actually blinks status, enter the Wi-Fi password your current connected, click “Confirm”, and then wait for the device to configure automatically.The waiting time is 3 minutes
Step 5: After the configuration is successful, the indicator light stops blinking, and the APP jumps to "Added successfully". You can change the device name. Click "Done" ,then the device is ready to use.

Mounting Alarms:

1. Twist off the mounting bracket from the alarm.
2. Put the bracket on the installation position and mark the screw holes on the ceiling or the wall.
3. Drill two mounting holes in the marked place by an electric drill (The diameter of the drill hole is 5mm) and insert two plastic anchor plugs by hammer.
4. Screw the mounting bracket to the ceiling or the wall (Refer to figure 3).
5. Attach the alarm to the mounting bracket and turn clockwise to lock the alarm

Question: Is this item compatible with the Samsung tablet and Alexa?
Answer: It depends on whether your device is compatible with the TuyaSmart app. Please note that some mobile phones and devices are not compatible with EZ mode, and you will need to switch it to AP mode. Please refer to the user manual for more details.

Question: Can I connect 3 of these together with the app? I'd like to have one labeled as garage another for downstairs and another for upstairs.
Answer: Yes, up to 100 devices can be added to the TuyaSmart app. You can add your three units together and change the device name on the app, allowing you to distinguish the devices by their location.

Question: Can i get the alarm when i am not home? (over the internet, while i am on vacation, lets say)
Answer: You can access the status of the alarm through the app on your phone. If the smoke alarm goes off if you are not at home, it will send you an alert to your phone that your smoke alarm is going off.
