How to configure the network
Pairing process (EZ mode)
Step 1: Open Tuya/Smart Life APP and enter "My Home", click "Add Device";
Step 2: Select "Security & Sensor", and then select "Alarm (Wi-Fi)";
Step 3: Power on the device and quickly press the button four times until the LED indicator flashes quickly. Confirm and click "Next"
Step 4: Wait for the device to be automatically configured. The pairing process is within 3 minutes;
Step 5: After the configuration is successful, the indicator light stops flashing, and the APP jumps to "Add successfully". Click "Finish" to complete the pairing process. If the pairing fails, please try again or choose AP mode to try.

LED and Buzzer Indicators

• Normal status: Green LED Flashes once every 60 seconds.
• Test status: Two sets of 3 long beeps with Red LED flashes and two sets of 4 quick beeps with Red LED flashes.
• Smoke alarm: Red LED flashes 4 times synchronized with 4 long beeps.
• Carbon monoxide alarm: Red LED flashes 3 times synchronized with 3 short beeps
• Hush/Silence mode: Red LED flashes once every 8 seconds.
• Low Battery status: Red LED flashes once every 60 seconds and beep every 60 seconds.
• Fault status: the alarm will deliver beeps every 40 seconds.

Where to install

• First of all, you should install alarms in the bedroom and walkway. If there are several bedrooms in the house, install an alarm in each bedroom.
• Install an alarm above the stairs and on each floor of the house.
• Smoke, heat and burning things will spread horizontally when they rise to the ceiling, so install an alarm in the middle of the ceiling.
• If it cannot be installed in the middle of the ceiling, it should be installed 300mm away from the corner.
• When the alarm is installed on the wall, it should be kept at a distance of 100mm from the ceiling.
• If the length of the room or hall exceeds 30 feet, you need to install several alarms there.
• When the wall or ceiling is inclined, the alarm should be installed at least 500mm from the highest wall or ceiling in the room.

Locations to Avoid

• High-humidity areas such as kitchens, and bathrooms;
• Next to air outlets, fans and central heating;
• Dusty, dirty areas or areas with insects;
• High-temperature and easily polluted places;
• Places with difficult access, making it difficult to operate the test function;
• Within 1.5m from lamps;
• Next to doors or windows;
• In the top of rooms with sloping roofs, the corner of the room or other dead-air spaces.

Install the alarm

1. Unscrew the mounting bracket from the alarm;
2. Put the bracket on the installation position, and mark the screw holes on the ceiling or wall;
3. Use an electric drill to punch 2 mounting holes (drill diameter 5mm) at the mark, and insert 2 plastic anchor plugs with a hammer;
4. Fix the mounting bracket on the ceiling or wall;
5. Install the alarm on the mounting bracket and turn the lock alarm clockwise;
