What is fused mullite?

Fused mullite is made of high-purity quartz sand and industrial alumina, which is smelted in a super-large electric arc furnace. It has a high content of mullite crystals which confer high melting point,excellent themal stability,low reversible themal expansion and resistance.

Mainly application of fused mullite:

It is widely used as lining bricks in glass body kiln and large hot wind furnacein iron-making blast furnace as well as in ceramic kiln and petrochemistry.
