The binoculars have fully multi-coated optical elements, BaK-4 phase coating and dielectric prisms. When all air-glass surfaces are coated with various anti-reflective coatings, so that the maximum amount of light can pass through the glass and reach the eyes, binoculars can be considered "fully multilayer coatings".

The prism inside the 10x42 binoculars is made of high quality BaK-4 glass with phase and dielectric coating, so more light is reflected from the prism and passes through the eyes. Generally, a complete multilayer coating and BaK-4 prism can maximize light transmission and obtain the brightest and most delicate images.

10X42 binoculars are made of lightweight and durable magnesium/PPS alloy. Its sturdy frame is covered with rubber, which can withstand extensive use in the field.
