Pelton turbine have two mount type of vertical and horizontal which is suitable for high water head site.
vertical shaft machines equipped with multi-jet collectors for an output up to ~20 MW and with runner diameters up to 4m.
horizontal shaft single or double runner Pelton turbines with one or two jets. These turbines operate economically with the lowest discharges.

The turbine shall be adopted the structure of 85°/55° injection pipe. The lower part of manifold pipe inlet of turbine and the level shall be formed 15 °.Turbine shall consist of Φ600 ball valve (Expansion pipe included), piping system, assembly of injection pipe, assembly of turbine housing, runner etc.It shall be adopted the connection of flange for runner and shaft, settled by bolt, driven by flat key. There designs enough space on turbine housing so that it can be easily maintained and changed runner without removing main shaft of generator. Brake nozzle shall be mounted on turbine housing and be controlled by self-hold ball valve. When unit stops, it can be put into operation.Governor can realize the control of start and stop of unit to guarantee on-cam relationship between the opening of deflector and stroke of needle.Assembly of injection pipe includes: needle, nozzle tip ring, injection pipe, deflector, deflector shaft etc. Water shall pass through water passage, which is compassed of injection pipe, nozzle and needle etc. to inject from the middle of nozzle tip ring and needle to form a high speed water column. Through interaction of runner bucket and water column, water energy will become mechanical energy. This key part of turbine and runner become the heart of Pelton turbine. Deflector shall be used to cut off water flow quickly when load rejection occurs suddenly or during the adjustment of fluctuate. Servomotor can partly operate start and stop of needle automatically. Moving signals of needle will be transmitted to displacement of governor through feedback device and be transmitted to governor to realize automatic on-cam relationship of unit.In order to assemble and maintain valve, there designs an extension pipe in ball valve outlet to compensate deviation of assembly and deformity of penstock.
