Precautions for the use of Aventis rotary joints
Before installation:
Remove foreign matter from pipes, drums and inside the rotary joint.
Keep the rotary joint in a clean and stable state.
During installation:
Ensure that the outer tube and quick-change flange of the rotary joint are concentric after connection with the rotating shaft of the equipment.
Pay attention to the thread direction. From the installation direction of the rotary joint, the clockwise direction is the left thread and the counterclockwise direction is the right thread.
It is strictly forbidden to hit or knock the rotary joint.
There should be no other constraints during the installation process to ensure that the joint has space to automatically adjust the seal wear.
For rotary joints with anti-rotation devices, torque supports of sufficient size are required for anti-rotation.
When installing a rotary joint with an inspection hole, the inspection hole should face downward.
Ensure that the position where the fluid enters or exits the pipeline corresponds to the corresponding orifice of the rotary joint.
Use a hose to connect the rotary joint to avoid direct connection with a hard pipe.
In use:
For thermal oil rotary joints, the temperature cannot be increased rapidly. It generally takes 24-72 hours for the equipment to reach the operating temperature.
After the rotary joint that passes the thermal oil medium is installed, ensure that the return oil hole is downward.
Long-term operation with dry friction is strictly prohibited.
Do not allow a rotary joint with an incorrect rotation center to continue to operate.
Avoid using it at a speed exceeding the rated maximum speed under high pressure.
Under high temperature conditions, if the bearing uses a ball bearing model, lubricating grease must be added regularly.
Ensure the cleanliness of the fluid medium. If there are particles, impurities, iron filings and other foreign matter in the medium, a filter device should be installed.
Maintenance:
Regularly check the sealing surface and internal parts of the rotary joint.
For rotary joints with inspection holes and observation holes, if the liquid leaks from the inspection holes, it needs to be replaced.
When the machine is not used for a long time, the rotary joint should be prevented from rusting and damage.
