Precautions for using Danfoss cycloidal motors
Hydraulic oil selection:
The viscosity of the hydraulic oil should be moderate, with an optimal viscosity range of 100-150SUS (20-32cSt), and must not be lower than 70SUS (13cSt).
If the color of the oil turns black, there may be an overheating problem; if the oil is emulsified, there may be water contamination.
Installation requirements:
The mounting bracket must have sufficient rigidity to prevent the motor from vibrating under pressure shock.
The output shaft of the motor must be coaxial with the center line of the connected coupling to avoid radial or axial forces.
It is strictly forbidden to use a hammer to disassemble the connection device to avoid damaging the internal components of the motor.
System design:
The motor cannot be used at maximum speed and maximum pressure at the same time.
When working intermittently, the running time of the motor per minute shall not exceed 10%.
The maximum oil temperature is 80℃.
The back pressure is recommended not to exceed 5MPa. If it exceeds this range, it is recommended to connect an external oil pipe.
Before the motor reaches full load, it should be run-in. It is recommended to run-in at less than 30% of the maximum working pressure for 1 hour.
Operation and maintenance:
Before operation, check whether all components of the hydraulic system are connected correctly, and add oil to the specified height through the filter.
Start running for 10-15 minutes under no-load condition, exhaust air, and ensure that there is no air in the system.
After removing the air, fill the oil tank, and then gradually increase the load to observe whether there are any abnormal phenomena.
Change the oil once after 50 hours of operation, and follow the maintenance rules afterwards.
If it is not a motor failure, do not disassemble it easily.
