1)Rod dust seals keep hydraulic fluid clean by preventing contaminants such as dust, mud and water from entering the cylinder and damaging the rod and bumper seals. Contaminated hydraulic oil can damage machine surfaces and clog filters, shortening the life of the hydraulic cylinder. These annular dust seals (sometimes called wipers, excluders, scrapers, or dust seals) have a lip inside the cylinder that holds the dust seal in place. They are used in industrial tools, mobile hydraulic systems and agricultural applications.
2)DKB dustproof (dustproof) seals, also known as scraper seals, are often used in conjunction with other seals, such as the main oil seal, and buffer seals to allow the slide rod to pass through the inner bore of the seal while preventing leakage.
3)Dust seals are critical to protecting hydraulics from external contaminants. By keeping everything, including ash layers, out of the system, scraper seals prevent any damage to rods, cylinder walls, seals and other important components of the system. When dust seals are not secured or fail, it can cause component failure in the fluid power system, resulting in severe damage to other operating components.
4)All of our seals are packed and sealed at the time of manufacture to ensure the highest quality. They are stored in a dark place and kept in a temperature-controlled environment before shipment.
