Murata Electronics CRx Micro Batteries are heat resistant, lightweight, high voltage, and high energy density manganese dioxide lithium batteries. These batteries employ specially processed Manganese dioxide (MnO2) as the cathode material and high-voltage and high-activity lithium metal as the anode material. The micro batteries incorporate Lithium salt molten into an organic solution as the electrolyte that ensures the transmission of high voltage and high-energy to the exterior. The CRx micro batteries find their applications in automotive, IoT devices, medical equipment, and home electrical appliances. These batteries are available in standard, extended temperature, high drain, and heat-resistant versions. The standard micro batteries come in small, thin, and high capacity models. The extended temperature micro batteries support an operating temperature range up to 85°C for common ICs. The heat-resistant micro batteries are ideal for devices that are used in severe operating temperature environments including automobiles and FA. The high-drain micro batteries are meant for devices with large current loads such as Low-Power Wide Area (LPWA) communication.
