Push button switches are classified according to their use and contact structure:

1. Normally open (moving, closing) button switch, the contact is disconnected when not pressed, and the

contact is closed when pressed; when released, the push button switch is reset and disconnected under

the effect of the reset spring. In the control circuit, the normally open button is often used to start the motor,

also called the start button.

4. Normally closed (dynamically disconnected) push button switches are the opposite of normally open push

button switches. When the end is pressed, the contact is closed; when pressed, the contact is opened; when

the hand is released, the push button switch is reset and closed under the effect of the reset spring. Normally

closed button is generally used to control motor stop, also known as self-reset button.
5. Composite push button switch: a push button switch that combines the normally open and normally closed

push button switches into one, that is, there are normally closed contacts and normally open contacts. When

not pressed, the normally closed contact is closed and the normally open contact is opened. When the button

is pressed, the normally closed contact is opened first, and then the normally open contact is closed, which

can be regarded as a self-locking button. When released, under the effect of the reset spring, the push button

switch first opens the normally open contact and then closes the normally closed contact. The interlocking

control circuit adopts the composite button.
