The frequency response of the audio transformer is uniform in the operating frequency band. The core is made of a material with high permeability. The primary winding and the secondary winding are tightly coupled, so that the magnetic flux through the primary winding is almost all connected to the secondary winding, and the coupling coefficient is close to 1. The lowest frequency of the passband is determined by the inductance of the primary winding, and the highest frequency is determined by the leakage induction of the transformer.
2.Audio transformers can be divided into 3 categories according to their position in the electronic circuit:
Connected between the output circuit and the load is called the output transformer;
Connected between the signal source and the amplifier input is called the input transformer;
Connected between the output circuit of the previous stage and the input circuit of the next stage is called an interstage transformer.
Audio transformers can implement voltage transformer conversion like power transformers, and can also implement audio signal coupling.
