The reason why the rubber air spring can replace the pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder is because it has the following outstanding advantages
Low design height: Compared with the traditional cylinder, the air bag air spring has no piston rod, which can greatly reduce the design height and make the structure more compact.
Low cost of ownership: Compared to conventional cylinders, air bag air springs are not only low-cost to purchase, but also cost less due to their long service life and no maintenance.
Economical and easy installation: When not inflated, the air bag air spring is quick and easy to install, saving time and money. Moreover, the product has good elasticity and can compensate for small deviations.
Allowable lateral eccentricity: The lateral eccentricity of the airbag air spring can be up to 30mm, within which the reliability of the work can still be maintained. Unlike air or hydraulic cylinders, bladder cylinders have no seals that can jam or wear, and do not require precision guides that are susceptible to dust and other impurities.
Frictionless = Maintenance free: Airbag air springs work effectively even in poor operating conditions. Since there are no parts (seals) that rub against each other in the bladder-type cylinder, there is no wear even when working in an environment with a lot of dust, particles or sediment.
