Vortex Flowmeter DN50 to Measure Gas with High Precision
1. Introduction
LUGBML based on the vonkarman vortex principle, piezoelectric crystals are used as test elements. It is a new type of vortex flowmeter for stress detection. It has the advantages of large measuring range ratio, high precision, small pressure loss, good versatility of medium, proportional pulse output to flow rate and convenient connection with computer, because the probe and eddy current generator of the sensor are installed separately, and the high temperature resistant piezoelectric crystal does not touch the instrument. LUGBML series of vortex flowmeter sensors can be used to detect and measure the flow rate of various gases, liquids and vapors. Can be used with our ML6000 series vortex Flowmeter. It can also work with computers and temperature, pressure, density sensors to form a high-precision mass flow or heat flow detection system.
2. Working Principle
The vortex flowmeter is a volume flowmeter which measures the volume flow of gas, steam or liquid, the volume flow or mass flow of gas, steam or liquid according to the Karman vortex street principle.
It is mainly used to measure the flow rate of medium fluid in industrial pipeline, such as gas, liquid, steam and so on.
It is characterized by small pressure loss, wide measuring range and high precision, and is almost not affected by fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and other parameters when measuring volume flow under working conditions.
There are no movable mechanical parts, so the reliability is high and the maintenance quantity is small.
The instrument parameters can be stable for a long time.
The vortex Flowmeter adopts piezoelectric stress sensor with high reliability and can work in the working temperature range of-20 ℃ ~ + 250 ℃.
There are both analog standard signal and digital pulse signal output, which is easy to be used with computers and other digital systems, so it is a relatively advanced and ideal measuring instrument.

6. Design & Installation
It is important to install meter,if not installed well, then would affect precision, use-life and damage.
1. To avoid strong current, high frequency and powerful switch set, power supply of meter shall be avoided to near by these equipments.
2. To avoid high-Temp & radiation source. if have to install it, need heat insulation & ventilated measure.
3. To avoid high-Temp & enchant gas, if have to install it, need ventilated measure.
4. Vortex flow meter shall be avoided to install on shaking part of pipeline. If have to install on it,shall add clamp device and vibration pad which located on 2D to enhance shake proof . meter has better to installed indoors, pay attention to waterproof when installing meter outdoors,special notice the joint, make cable conductor to U shape to avoid water get into the amplifier body Around installing place shall save enough space,so that install connection line and maintenance routine.
