Vortex Flow Meter with 0.7 -7m/s for Liquid And 7 - 40m/s for Gas Velocity Range
1. Introduction
LUGBML is based on Von Karman’s Vortex Principle, which adopts piezoelectric crystal as testing components. It is a new kind of stress detecting vortex flow meter. It has the advantage of wide range ratio, high accuracy, low pressure loss, good medium generality, pulse output proportional to flow, convenient to connect with computer and etc. As the detector probe of sensor and the vortex generating body are installed separately, and the high temperature resistant piezoelectric crystal doesn’t contact with medium, so the instrument is of simple structure, good generality and high stability.
LUGBML series Vortex Flow Meter sensor can be used to detect and measure the flow of all kinds of gas, liquid and steam.
2. Application
LUGBML series is suitable for oil,chemical industry,metallurgy,heating power,spinning,paper making ,etc. Be use of control: over-heating vapor, saturation vapor, compressed air,ordinary air(oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, natural gas, coal gas ,etc),water and liquid (water, petrol ,alcohol, benzene ,etc.)
3. Working Principle
The vortex flowmeter is a volume flowmeter that is researched and produced according to the Karman vortex principle to measure the volume flow of gas, steam or liquid, the volume flow of standard conditions or the mass flow. It is mainly used for flow measurement of industrial pipeline medium fluid, such as gas, liquid, steam and other media.
It is characterized by small pressure loss, large measuring range, and high accuracy. It is hardly affected by fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and other parameters when measuring volume flow under working conditions. There are no movable mechanical parts, so the reliability is high and the maintenance is small. The instrument parameters can be stable for a long time. The vortex flowmeter adopts piezoelectric stress sensor, which has high reliability and can work in the working temperature range of -20℃~+250℃. It has analog standard signal and digital pulse signal output, which is easy to use with digital systems such as computers. It is a relatively advanced and ideal measuring instrument.
