1. Introduction
The MLF electromagnetic flowmeter works according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and consists of a sensor and a transducer. Used to measure the conductivity of a liquid or solid. In general, its conductivity should be greater than 5μS/cm (tap water, raw water conductivity of about 100 ~ 500μS/cm), can also be used to measure acid, alkali, salt water, pulp or pulp and other media. However, these media should not contain large amounts of magnetic material and air bubbles.

4. Selection of Electrode Materials
Electrode Material | Main Performance |
316L | Good resistance to the corrosion of nitric acid, <5% sulfuric acid under room temperature, acetic acid, alkaline fluid, sulfite under certain pressure, seawater and scetic acid, etc. It can be widely used in petrochemical urea, vinylon. |
Hb | Good resistance to the all the concentration of hydrochloric acid below the boiling point, also resistance tothe corrosion of non-oxidizing acid, alkali, salt like sulfuric acid phosphoric acid hydrofluoric acid, organic acids. |
Hc | Resistance to the corrosion of oxidizing acids like metric acid, mixed acid. The mixture of chromium acid and sulfuric acid, and salts of oxidative, like Fe3+, Q3+, and some other oxidants, like hypochlorite salt solution higher than normal tmperature and seawater. |
Ti | Resistant to corrosion of seawater, various chlorides, hyalphates, oxidizing acids (including smoke nitric acid), organic acids or alkalis, but not pure reduced acids (e.g. sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid). However, if the acid contains oxidants (e.g. nitric acid, Fe3, Q3), corrosion resistance is reduced. |

6. Instrument Detection & Maintenance
The electromagnetic flowmeter has a self-diagnostic function. In addition to power supply and hardware circuit failures, the system also alarms other failures in general use. These messages will give corresponding prompts in the lower right corner of the screen.
1 Maintenance and repair
a) The sensor installation site should meet the requirements of Section 4, please keep the housing tidy;
b) The transmitter should be placed in a clean, ventilated and dry place;
c) It needs to be inspected every two years. For high-precision users, the instrument needs to be submitted for review.
2 Transportation and storage
a) The instrument must be packaged before transportation, and be handled with care when loading and unloading.
b) The storage place must be dry and ventilated to avoid corrosive gases, and the ambient temperature should not be too low or too high;
c) The storage time should not exceed three years.
3. Unpacking inspection
a) The package cannot be opened with a heavy hammer, be careful not to damage the instrument
b) Check the contents carefully according to the packing list.
