Clamp On Ultrasonic Flow Meter for Water Flow Measurement
I. Introduction
ML-6100S is a wall-mounted clamping ultrasonic flowmeter, which adopts time difference technology. The transmission is designed with FPGA chip and low voltage broadband pulse. Two can provide clamping sensors and plug-in sensors. The ML-6100S has a 240*128 backlit LCD with four lines of menu display, and the clear and user-friendly menu selection makes the flowmeter more simple and convenient to use every day. Parallel operation of positive, negative and net flow totalizers with scale factor (span) and BTU capacity. The pulse output and frequency output of accumulator are transmitted through relay and open collector.
ML-6100S can be used together with RTD module and PT1000 temperature sensor, and become an electric energy meter for measuring heat consumption and cold consumption of heat supply pipeline and air conditioning refrigeration pipeline; PT1000 adopts high temperature resistance wire and imported movement, and its sensitivity and working environment durability are much higher than those of domestic PT100.

IV. Installation Site Selection
The first condition for ultrasonic flow meter is the pipe must be full of liquid, the bubbles will greatly influence the accuracy of the measurement, please avoid the follow installation position.
The suggestion installation area is as following:
A is for upright pipeline, please notice the water direction is from the bottom to top.
B is for horizontal pipeline, the transducers need to be installed inside the C area,angle for area C, max 120°
