The 2711P-T6C1A PanelView 600 Plus by is an electronic device which provides interface through the color active matrix thin film-transistor 5.7-inch screen with analog-resistive touch and an antiglare surface. Its display screen has display dimensions of 111mm x 84mm (4.37in x 3.3in) with 18-bit color graphics, a 320 x 240 resolution and a display brightness of 300 cd/m2 Nits. The 2711P-T6C1A offers 50,000 hours of standby time for its Cold Cathode Fluorescent Backlight and an internal battery-backed real-time clock with timestamps for critical data and a battery lifespan of 5 years. The 2711P-T6C1A communicates through the base RS-232 serial and the 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports and it supports a remote I/O communication module for extended communication capability.

The 2711P-T6C1A utilizes a non-isolated AC power source with 85-264V AC input voltage at 47-63Hz and a maximum power output 60VA. It can also use an external power supply with 85-256V AC input range at 47-63Hz and a maximum power output of 120VA. It has a non-volatile 64MB user memory for storing applications, and a volatile program memory of 64MB, and it can process user applications through the 350MHz, NEC VR5532A MIPS CPU. The 2711P-T6C1A is pre-loaded with the FactoryTalk View Machine Edition Software and is compatible with all FactoryTalk View ME applications version 3.20-5.10. It is built to operate at a temperature bracket of 0-55 °C (32-131 °F) at 5-95% non-condensing humidity range, and it can be stored at a temperature of -25-70 °C (-13-158 °F). It is CE, UL, C-TICK, and CSA-certified, and it is designed with a NEMA 12, 23, 4X, IP54, and IP65-rated enclosure. The 2711P-T6C1A has an approximate volume of 167mm x 266mm x 98mm and it weighs 930g.
