Brief Introduction

Chemical pumps are designed and manufactured to ensure that they are able to handle aggressive and corrosive liquids. The different material is choosen when transferring different medium. The two most common material are stainless steel and plastic, but it is always important that it is checked that the materials of construction are compatible with the specific chemical composition of the fluid being handled within the process. For example, 316L is corrosion resistant to nitric acid and sulfuric acid, but it is not corrosion resistant to hydrochloric acid. Our self- developed material carbon fiber composite material can solve the problem.

Carbon fiber composite material is our self-developed high-strength composite material, and has obtained national invention patent (patent number ZL201310597859.0, ZL201310343890.1). This material has excellent wear resistance and is free from almost all chemical corrosion. Whatever medium is, the material is suitable to produce flow part. Thus, the service life of the pump prolong.

A contrast test between carbon fiber composite material and material 2507: under the same condition, medium: F, CI>800ppm, containing 12%sulfuric acid and 30%solid content, and its temperature is 90℃

• Acid resistance: hydrofluoric acid, fluosilicic acid, hydrochloric acid phosphoric acid, nitric acid, dilute sulphuric acid, organic acid
• Application temperature: application temperature ranges from o to 130C, and differs from mediums
• Corrosion resistance: particle size ＜ 20 mesh, solid content ≤ 50%
• Service life: its service life is three times as long as that of ordinary metal pump and non-mental pump
