The CTPM series of precooked corn flour mill is designed to produce precooked corn flour, arepa flour, which is a popular South American speciality.
This flour is a kind of cooked flour, usually made from white corn; before corn kernel milled into flour, it needs steam cooking in a chamber cooker and flaking by a flaking mill.

CLEANING SECTION

There are impurities mixed in the raw corn, like straw, corn cob fragments, sand, stone, dust and metal matters, which must be cleaned out before milling section; This is the job of cleaning section, which manages to get the work down by sieving, air flow sorting, gravity separating and magnet separating.

MILLING SECTION

Milling section is designed to mill the cleaned corn into cooked flour, which needs three steps, de-germinating, steam cooking and flaking, and milling.
It proved that the vertical iron roller rice whitener works well as the de-germinator to removing corn bran, root gap, black spot and germ;
Steam cooking and flaking is the necessary process for the flour to form a perfect corn flour dough, which is an obvious difference from common corn flour milling;
Either roller mills or hammer mills can complete the milling work, and the difference of them two is that the flour produced by roller mills has a relatively uniform granularity, or a narrow granularity range, while the flour produced by hammer mills has a wide granularity range, not an uniform granularity.

Packing Section

Packing is the automatic packer's work, which is usually designed according to clients requirements, like 1-5 kg per bag, 5-10 kg per bag, 10-15 kg per bag, 20-50 kg per bag and 1000 kg per bag, and even the intelligent stacking system can be equipped.

Electrical control and management

We usually use PLC and an industrial computer to control and monitor the whole milling line, and the elecrical units can be any brands as clients requirement, like Siemens, Schneider, Omron, ABB or other brands.
