Description

Galvanized wire(Galvanized steel wire, galvanized iron wire, G.I wire) is devided into hot-dip galvanized wire and electro galvanized wire in terms of galvanization method. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which the wire is submerged in a bath of molten zinc. Normally Hot-dip galvanized wire has two grades in zinc layer thickness: regular coating and Heavy coating.

Compared with electro galvanization, hot-dip galvanization deposits not only a thicker zinc layer, but also a robust layer of zinc iron alloys on the surface of iron wire, which improve the ability of corrosion prevention of iron wire.

Electro galvanized wire,also calleed cold galvanized wire,is made of high quality carbon steel wire.The processing of thid wire id to use electyolytic equipment for galvanizing.In general,the zine coating is not very thick,but the electro galvanzied wire has enough anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation,the zinc coating surface is very average,smooth and bright.Electro galvanized wire zinc coated commonly is 8-50 g/m2.this is mainly used to make nails and wire ropes,wire mesh and fencing,binding of flowers and wire mesh weaving.

Hot dipped galvanized wire belongs to the primary wire products of galvanzation.The common sizes of hot dipped galvanized are from 8 gague to 16 gague,we aslo accept smaller or bigger diameter for customers' choices.Hot dipped galvanized wire with firm zice coating provides strong corrosion resistance and high tensile strength.This kind of wire is widely used for making handicrafts,woven wire mesh,forming fencing mesh,packing products and other daily uses
