Description

Commander SK and Unidrive SP are transitioning to become legacy products in 2015, which means they can be subject to price and lead time changes as volume production reduces.The legacy period is expected to last for two years and will be followed by the maintenance period. When Commander SK and Unidrive SP enter the maintenance period of their lifecycle, volume production of these products will cease, but contractual obligations regarding warranty, service and repairs will continue. The maintenance period is expected to last ten years subject to raw material and component availability. Updates will be issued to customers throughout the lifecycle period. Local sales representatives are always available to answer any customer queries.

Control Techniques Commander SK Series AC Inverter for 7.5kW (10HP) 400V 3 Ph motor in VxF or Sensorless Vector control to 16.5A. Converts fixed frequency three phase 400V input to variable frequency three phase 400V for a standard AC Induction motor.

From October 2017 the CT Commander SK series is no longer available. The manufacturer recommends that customers upgrade to the Unidrive M200. See linked products below for M200 of equivalent rating and mounting adapter plate.

Unidrive M: compatibility with Commander SK and Unidrive SP

Mechanical
• Compatible physical dimensions, weights and surface mount footprint.
• When retrofitting surface mount drives, existing mounting holes can be reused-negating the need for additional drilling. Mounting holes are in the same place or retrofit kits are available.


Electrical
• Power and control wiring adopt the same philosophy as Commander SK and Unidrive SP.

Parameters

• The same menu and parameter structure is adopted by Unidrive M.
• Parameters can be transferred from Unidrive SP to Unidrive M using a Smartcard.
• Unidrive M Connect can be used to transfer parameters from Unidrive SP and Commander SK to Unidrive M.
Software programs

• The SI-Applications Plus option module can compile SyPTPro programs for Unidrive M.
