Bearing bar
- A flat bar withstanding the main load is in consistent with the span direction .

- the distance center to center of the two bearing bars.
Cross bar
- the connecting bars , made from twisted bar ,round bar or flat bar, which extend across the bearing bars

- the distance center to center of the two adjacent cross bars.

(span)- the maximum dimension of a grating panel ,measured parallel to the bearing bar ,and in the same direction as the bearing bars .

Panels are bundled in a way applicable to handling of forklift or tricingline rope: four steel objects are placed on the top and bottom of bundle respectively. Four long bolts of M8 or M10 penetrate through the openings of the steel gratings in the middle and fasten the panels up. For the steel gratings of 3mm thick bearing bar, four pieces of angle steel are placed at the bottom of the panel, to prevent from deforming when unloading.
