Considerations

During installation, it is strictly prohibited to contaminate the inner wall of the electrofusion tee and the pipe welding area with organic matters and other substances.During the installation of pipeline, the tee pipe fittings must be reinforced with buttress or fixed with support, and the pipeline compensation shall be properly done.

The pipes and pipe fittings must be buried below the frozen soil layer, and the pipes shall not be soaked by water during the installation and welding of the electrofusion tee.When the temperature is low, the welding tee must be well insulated.

When working in the environment with large temperature difference between day and night, the centralizer and other tools must be used to fix the pipes on both sides of the electrofusion tee, so as to avoid the influence of heat expansion and cold shrinkage on the welding quality.Pipes and fittings cannot be moved during cooling.

Test methods

Elongation at break: it is one of the performances of good flexibility of pipes. Confirm whether the pipes retain the properties of raw materials.Weather resistance: confirm that the pipe retains the performance of the raw material, and ensure that the pipe still can meet the use requirements.

Slow crack growth resistance: confirm that the pipe fittings retain the slow crack growth resistance of the raw materials to ensure the basic load capacity and long-term service life of the pipe fittings.Thermal de qualitative: confirm that the original properties of raw materials are retained for the tee, and ensure that the tee can still meet the use requirements within the service life of construction and welding.

Melt mass flow rate: confirm that the original performance of the raw material is basically retained in the pipe, so as to ensure the reprocessing process and welding performance of the pipe.
