Description:
The Cavitation air flotation System is an innovative system for the removal of oil& grease and solid from liquid waste. Design simplicity makes the unit easy to operate, easy to maintain, economical to use.
CAF is a Cavitation Air Flotation process. Microbubbles are injected into the wastewater without first having to dissolve the air. Only air passes through the ejection nozzles, therefore no blockage can occur. There is no need for air compressors, pumps, and pressure vessels.
The system is a self-contained, rectangular unit therefore space requirement is minimal. Site preparation, construction and costs are at a minimum.
There are four sections: an aeration section with cavitation aeration, flotation area, solids discharge chamber, and clarified effluent channel and adjustable weir section.
Sewage enters a baffled aeration section. The cavitation aerator draws ambient air down a shaft and injects microbubbles directly into the sewage. The bubbles attach to the solids, flow upward and support the solids a the surface.
The floated solids(fats, oils, grease, suspended solids) are removed by a surface scraping mechanism.
Water collection tubes from the aeration chamber continually collect the clarified water to the clarified effluent channel.
Clarified water flows to an adjustable weir section by gravity, which controls the water level of the main tank. From the weir, the effluent is discharged.
Applications:
1. Abattoirs
2. Cheese processing
3. Container washing
4. Dairies
5. Food processing
6. Fish processing
7. Metal removal
8. Meat industry
9. Poultry processing
10. Pulp& paper
11. Small goods
12. Tanneries
13. Vegetable industries
Competitive Advantage:
No air compressor | Good integrity and easy to install |
No circulation pump | Save running costs at about 40%~90% |
No dissolve air vessel | Save floor space at about 40%~60% |
No cleaning nozzles | High efficiency, especially for oil &grease separated from the water |
