Description:
By means of innovative pump technology an increase of efficiency up to 80% has been realized e.g. in the dissolved air flotation (DAF) compared to traditional systems for industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment applications. Specially designed open impellers for multiphase (DAF) pumps are sucking in air automatically - means no separate compressors and tanks required - operate as dynamic mixer with high shearing forces and increase pressure at the same time. This results in clearly reduced investment and operation costs for the benefit of system manufactures and the end users as well.
The multiphase pump dissolved air flotation system is a clarification process for the separation of solids, grease and oils. It works by using multiphase pump to mix water and air, then release it, producing a stream of micro-fine air bubbles that attach to solids and float them to the surface, where they can be removed by a surface scraping mechanism.

Integrated chemical

reaction tanks

This DAF system can be manufactured with any number of chemical reaction

tanks for upstream Ph control or coagulation. The reaction tank is constructed

in stainless steel, with a retention time to suit each application.

Skid-Mounted and

Pre-Teste

This DAF system is usually supplied as skid-mounted, pre-tested units to

simplify installation.

Bottom Sludge

Removal

For ease of cleaning, this DAF system are designed with a sloping base to
allow any settled solid to be drained as a option. On larger DAF systems our
unique hopper bottom is a cost-effective, proven method of automatically
removing solids.
