1 . Descriptions:

The filtration system consists of one or more standard high-speed filtration units and is an important part of the pure water treatment system. The water flows through an internal water distributor and collector that utilises various sizes of quartz sand media to effectively remove particulate matter and reduce turbidity. When equipped with specific filtration materials such as activated carbon or anthracite, the system also removes appropriate organic matter, ions and other impurities to further enhance water quality.

The filtration units are available in various sizes and can be installed in different ways. The shallow sand filter can be used as a stand-alone filtration system, utilising the water supply pump from an existing process. Alternatively, it can be used as a side filter in a pure water treatment system with its own dedicated pump. The filter can also be integrated into shared pipework with multiple treatment units to achieve virtually unlimited filtration capacity.

The filtration system offers three types of backwashing: manual, semi-automatic and automatic. Backwashing can be initiated manually at the push of a button or automatically via PLC control, differential pressure or management system to ensure efficient operation and consistent water quality in pure water treatment systems.
