Spiral Brush Spiral brushes are made from strip brush and ideal for applications that require constant brush pressure and cleaning. These brushes start as straight strip brushes and are formed into a cylinder shape with the metal on the outside and the filaments pointing towards the center. The brush is then stretched open to the required pitch, sometimes referred to as lead.Brushes can be manufactured with various coil spacing, fill materials, metal strip sizes and shaft and core diameters in steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
