In-mold decorating or in-mold labeling process is a preprinted label or decorated applique film insert to the opened injection mold and held in place via vacuum ports, electrostatic charge or other method. Encapsulate the decoration or label permanently in the finished injection molded part white the plastic injection mold is closed and the plastic resin injected to the mold.

In-Mold Decoration Process
