Introduction to the TL Surge Protector IOP32

The IOP series is designed to provide protection for both digital I/O and analog I/O. It is the most economical I/O surge protection solution in Eaton's products. High packing density, high degree of protection and low price make the IOP series a popular solution.
The IOP series is not only cost-effective, but also retains a hybrid circuit consisting of a 20kA gas discharge tube and solid-state components. In terms of design, this impressive product has a very low line resistance, so only a small voltage drop is added to the circuit.
The detachable terminals of the IOP series allow for easy installation and maintenance, and the circuit can be disconnected by unplugging the terminals on the module side. The angle of the wire entry facilitates routing within a space-constrained enclosure.
