Description

Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is a new high-resolution autofocus camera for Raspberry Pi, based on Sony IMX708, compatible with Raspberry Pi series motherboards.

Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 NoIR is the night vision version of Camera Module 3 series, compared to the regular version, the lens of the night vision version does not have IR filter, with IR fill light can support night vision function, the images taken by the night vision version during daytime use will be reddish.

With 12 megapixels of HD, this series of cameras offers the following key enhancements compared to the Sony IMX219 8 megapixel-based Camera Module V2:

1. Improved low sensitivity

2. High Dynamic Range (HDR) support for better photo quality

3. Support for motorized autofocus for more freedom of focus control performance
