Water supply system transformation:
Water supply control box examines the signal transmitted from electric contact pressure gauge to determine whether it is necessary to turn on the water pump and pressurized water supply the pressure tank. The upper-lower pressure limit of the pressure tank is set by a knob on the electrical contact pressure gauge, for example: the lower limit pressure of 4bar and the upper limit pressure of 6bar. When the pressure of the pressure tank is higher than 6bar, the electrical contact pressure gauge disconnects the output signal, and the control box also stops the pump, so as to ensure that the pressure does not continue to rise. The pressure of the pressure tank begins to drop when there is a user using the water, and when there is no user, the pressure is kept in a state of pressure. The pressure in the pressure tank fluctuates all the time, from the lower limit pressure to the upper limit pressure. The water output from the tap is extremely not fluent , which will bring inconvenience to users.
The internal PID controller of frequency inverter receives 4~20mA or 0~10V signal from pressure sensor, combined with the user-set working pressure (such as 5bar), the optimal op- erating speed of the pump is calculated in real time to keep the pressure in the storage tank constant. When at peak wa- ter supply time, the pump is running at high speed zone be- cause of the large flow, However, when at bottom water sup- ply time late at night, the water pump is basically in a dor- mant state, or due to the leakage of the water supply pipe network, as long as the low-speed water supply can maintain pressure.
The difference between constant pressure water supply system and common water supply system is that frequency inverter replaces the original water supply control box, and pressure sensor replaces the original electric contact pressure gauge. Although there is an increase in hardware costs, but it improves the user's experience (with constant output water). At the same time in the system energy consumption, because the pump does not need to start frequently (the motor at the start of the current consumption is 3 to 7 times the rated working time) And in steady-state operation, the pump generally does not need 50Hz full load operation, so the water supply system also has a good performance in energy saving after refitting inverter.
