Description

Ophthalmic Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Solution, informally known as viscoelastics, function as a cataract surgeon’s third hand. They can be used to maintain intraocular space during the creation of the capsulorrhexis, protect the endothelium against mechanical forces, maintain space during IOL implantation, and provide a barrier against vitreous prolapse in the case of a posterior capsule tear.

Ophthalmic Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Solution Intended Use:

Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose for Ophthalmic for Ophthalmic Surgery, which are suitable for cataract extraction, intraocular lens implantation and removal surgery, eye trauma and other eye surgery, are used to maintain anterior chamber depth in the ophthalmology operation and smear the operational instruments to prevent the cornea endotheliocyte from mechanical damage. They can be used only once to effectively avoid latrogenic cross- infection of the users or patients.
