API 6A Well Surface Testing Oil Diverter Manifold

API Spec 16A clamps differ from all other API equipment in regard to design and hydrotest. Clamps serve as fasteners similar to bolts, they do not come in contact with well fluid, and they may connect several API specified connectors having different nominal sizes and working pressures.

Clamps provide a reliable means to join API and other hub connections. Any of the equipment in the following list may have clamp hub connections:

Clamps allow faster and easier make up. Where limited space requires, clamp orientation adjustment allows easy access to nuts and bolts. Clamp connections have 360° infinite adjustability.

Manufactured clamps from material which meets or exceeds the requirements of API Spec 16A for material qualification, processing, chemical composition and mechanical properties.

The Hub adapter with one end connects with Clamp by bolts and nuts, the other end can be flange end as per API6A and 5B, can be Threaded, or can be weld neck union as per different applications

The manufactured Clamp is API 5# and Hub weld neck Union in 3 1/16"x10000psi and 4" union, with ring gasket BX154.
