Description
Ji'an Bio's high-quality malaria detection kit can detect the virus quickly and accurately. Malaria is an insect-borne infectious disease caused by the infection of Plasmodium through the bite of Anopheles mosquitoes or the transfusion of the blood of a person carrying Plasmodium. There are four species of Plasmodium parasites that live in humans, namely, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium malaria, Plasmodium falciparum, and Plasmodium ovale. In my country, it is mainly Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum; the other two species are rare, and some cases imported from abroad have been occasionally seen in recent years. Different malaria parasites cause Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium falciparum, and Plasmodium ovale, respectively. The disease is mainly manifested as periodic and regular attacks, with chills, fever, and sweating all over the body. Repeated attacks for a long time, can cause anemia and splenomegaly.
Source of infection: Malaria patients or asymptomatic carriers with gametocytes in their blood become the source of infection. The higher the density of protozoa in the blood, the higher the density of gametocytes and the greater the chance of transmission.

Clinical manifestations
①Incubation period
From human infection with Plasmodium to the onset of disease (oral temperature exceeds 37.8 ℃), it is called the incubation period. The incubation period includes the first reproductive cycle of the entire infrared and intra-red periods. Generally, it takes 14 days for Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium ovale, 12 days for Plasmodium falciparum, and 30 days for Plasmodium 3 days. The amount and strain of the infected protozoa, the difference in human immunity, and the way of infection can cause different incubation periods. In temperate regions, there are so-called long-latency strains, which can last for 8 to 14 months. The incubation period of blood transfusion infection is 7 to 10 days. Fetal-borne malaria has a shorter incubation period. People with certain immunity or people who have taken preventive medicines can prolong the incubation period.
