Acid and Alkali Resistant Black Long Fiber Geotextile for Environmental Protection
Product Introduction
Black long fiber geotechnical fabric belongs to a type of geotechnical fabric. Geotechnical fabric is a geosynthetic material made from synthetic fibers through needling or weaving, and the "long fiber" in black long fiber geotechnical fabric refers to its manufacturing process using long filament fibers. Common materials for its production include polyester staple fiber and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) long fiber, resulting in a fabric-like product with a black color.
Product Properties
(I) Physical performance aspects
High Intensity
Retaining sufficient strength and elongation in both dry and wet conditions, this is achieved by using plastic fiber material, which can withstand a certain degree of tension, enhancing the soil's tensile strength and resistance to deformation, and contributing to the stability of building structures. For example, in dike projects, it can resist the pressure of soil deformation.
Dimensional stability
It has good dimensional stability and is not prone to expansion and contraction deformation under different environmental conditions, thus ensuring its performance in engineering applications. For example, in highway engineering, it can continuously and stably exert its various functions.
Corrosion resistance
It can withstand corrosion for a long time in soil and water with different acidity and alkalinity, which makes it widely used in various soil environments and water conservancy projects. For example, in coastal reclamation projects, even if it comes into contact with seawater and soil with high salt content, it will not be easily corroded and damaged.
Good water permeability
There are gaps between the fibers, which have good water permeability and excellent water conductivity. They can form drainage channels inside the soil structure to discharge excess liquids and gases in the soil structure, which is crucial in drainage projects. For example, in tunnel drainage systems, it can effectively remove accumulated water and maintain the stability of the soil structure.
Product Application
1. The filtration of dam and slope protection, the isolation and seepage prevention of channel;
2. Foundation isolation, reverse filtration, drainage, slope, retaining wall, pavement reinforcement and drainage of roads, railways and airport runways;
3. Soft foundation treatment of port projects, reinforcement and drainage of beach embankments, harbour wharves and breakwaters;
4. Polyester filament geotextile has been widely used in the field of infrastructure construction, and is gradually applied to a wider range of fields.
